  • Do It

Director: Steve Petersen

Runtime: 22 minutes.

DO IT  is a noir story about a man named Bernie who is trapped by his delusions in a bleak life he has made for himself in Los Angeles.  He blames everyone around him for his miserable existence and blames one man most of all: the mayor.  He believes if he can kill the mayor then everything will finally change for him.  Bernie ultimately gets the chance to be face-to-face with the mayor himself.  The only question it, will he have the resolve to follow through with his psychotic plan and actually.. do it?

DO IT was shot during the summer of 2009 in Los Angeles over a 3 day period. Many thanks to my dedicated cast and crew.

Shooting the therapist scene

Pressing the trigger to set off the pyro in Bernie’s apartment. BOOM!

Ken up on the jib shooting B CAM for one of the ‘therapist scenes’.

Bernie’s apartment doesn’t look like much in the day time without the lighting.  That’s Eddie our gaffer and Jerry Digby, the man the myth.
